Who is Sir Walsh you ask?

Those of you who have been following have noticed that I have been plugging a summer horse program called Sir Walsh Horsemanship.  Who is Sir Walsh, you ask?  Well, let me fill you in on a little trivia about this 16 year old Thoroughbred gelding born in Illinois on February 7th.  Walsh began his racing career at the age of 3 and retired at the age of 8.  He raced a total of 72 times.  He won 9 races, came in 2nd in 8 races and placed 3rd in 11 races.  His total winnings were over $50,000!  After his racing career was over, he was privately owned.  About 3 years ago he became a school horse at Coconut Palm Equestrian Center.  When the property was sold to the SFSPCA, Walsh again took a much needed break on greener pastures in Grant, FL.  Now Sir Walsh is ready to go and waiting for all the new boys and girls attending the summer horse program at Top Notch Stables to fall in love with him!  For more information, please contact Instructor Lynn Zuccaro (pictured here riding Sir Walsh) at 305-522-2244 or at ponygirllynn@gmail.com.

Meet Nate Gold
