30 horses die in NY trailer fire

This story really never got the media attention yesterday that it deserved and that is just an outrage!  Thirty horses that were being transported to Canada to be slaughtered burned alive in the transport trailer they were being hauled in Tuesday in upstate NY.  If their fate wasn't bad enough, they then had to endure a hell that none of us could imagine-being in a confined space, panic stricken and burned to death.  The driver tried to extinguish the fire, but did it ever occur to him, just to open the door to let the horses out?  The incident is still under investigation.  I hope that every previous owner of each of the thirty horses being transported lives with the guilt of those horses fate for the rest of their lives.  I know that is wishful thinking, but after such a heart wrenching story that is all I have.....
