Happy Helpers...

Here sit the steadfast and true...the four happy helpers that were a constant right hand to Program Director Lynn Zuccaro!  Not only did they brave the heat and storms of the summer, but as you can see they did it in style and full of smiles!  There is only one more week of the Sir Walsh Horsemanship Summer Program and it is completely full!  Congratulations to Lynn for all the hard work she put into the program, as it was truly a success.  For all that missed out this year, Lynn still will be offering lessons during the school year.  Otherwise, mark your calendars for next year's program!!

The importance of balance....

At Sir Walsh Horsemanship, one of the things that is taught is you must have good balance to be able to ride a horse.  Many people think that they can just jump on and be able to stay in the saddle, no matter what the horse does.  Some people are born with good balance, but others are not.  This week's group of students worked almost every day on their balance and and as you can see from the second picture, young Meghan worked very hard practicing!  She is demonstrating a sitting trot, one handed all with a very big smile on her face.  Word of mouth has carried and next week's program is full, but the last week of camp beginning August 12, still has a couple of slots left!  Please call Program Director Lynn right away to reserve your spot today 305-522-2244.

Girls just want to have fun...

You might be saying to yourself, "Why, isn't that cute?  Three little girls having a balloon race."  But you would be wrong...yes, the three little girls are cute, but they are learning the value of soft legs (press too hard and the balloon will pop)-squeeze too hard, and you will have an unhappy horse!  These are just some of the fun, but educational lessons the children that attend the Sir Walsh Horsemanship Program learn.  There are only a couple of weeks left and spots are filling up fast, so make sure you call Program Director Lynn Zucarro today to reserve your child's spot at 305-522-2244.

Ribbons for everyone!

Here are the kids that participated in this week of Sir Walsh Horsemanship Summer Camp at Top Notch Stables.  Today was the horse show that began in the ring with plenty of sunshine, but ended up in the covered round pen with lots of rain!  This group didn't seem to care though, because they are all smiles as they proudly display their ribbon for family and friends.  The remaining weeks of this program are filling up fast, so don't wait to sign your son or daughter up now.  You can contact Program Director Lynn Zucarro for more information at 305-522-2244.

Cleaning stalls....

I don't know about you, but I never stay clean while I muck out a stall.  I have to say though, the picture I took of this little girl this morning learning to clean stalls made me chuckle...she is wearing a pink skirt and sneakers.  Most people don't wear good clothes when they muck, for obvious reasons.  But this little girl didn't have a care in the world and stayed clean throughout the process!  She is just one of the participants at Sir Walsh Horsemanship summer program this week.

Little girls and their horses...

Meet Charlie, the rescue horse.  He is part Arab, part Quarter Horse.  He is currently being used in the summer program at Top Notch Stables for the Sir Walsh Horsemanship Program.  As you can clearly see, Charlie love attention.  And boy is he getting a lot of love and attention from these two little girls!  Wouldn't it be great to have your son or daughter be able to experience these types of things this summer?  There are still more weeks left in this summer program, but you need to contact Instructor Lynn Zuccaro soon to sign up!  Call Lynn today at 305-522-2244 to reserve your spot in the coming weeks.

This big guy is a gentle giant!

This is Lynn Zuccaro's (creator of Sir Walsh Horsemanship) little niece riding on top of who may you ask?  But of course it is Sir Walsh himself!  As you have read, Sir Walsh is no pony and as you can see for such a big guy, he sure is gentle!  Your son or daughter will love experiencing their first horse experience with Sir Walsh and Instructor Lynn.  The summer program begins June 10th, so sign up early and sign up often as the program runs until the end of summer!  That's plenty of time to get the full experience of true horsemanship.  Please contact Lynn directly at 305-522-2244 for registration details.
